Four and puppets from Just Say No a gift from the Assistance League of Pasadena.

Man on a Horse, Bambara, Africa, rod puppet. This is an especially large and heavy piece. It probably required two puppeteers to manipulate because of its size and weight.

Young Boy, Page, Coyote and Bear (Mrs. Modo)
Gayle Schluter, a board member of IPM was a member of the Assistance League of Pasadena. It was because of her that the Junior League became involved with this project, (anti-drugs-Just Say No and the anti-smoking show All Dragons Don’t). IPM received the puppets and all other equipment, including the scripts, stage, sound system, lights and storage cases and stands for the puppets.
The original puppets were created by Phil Hettema. More puppets were created later by Roger Denis. Consultation was done by Jim Henson Associates. The performances were given at grammar schools in the San Gabriel Valley. René and some of his colleagues worked on the project as well.
